Austrian lawmakers found no proof of bribery in Eurofighter case

A parliamentary committee probing the purchase of the Eurofighter said it found no evidence that key decision makers who approve the deal in 2007 had been bribed.

There is a separate inquiry into the matter by Austria prosecutors. Chairman of the inquiry, Karlheinz Kopf, said the investigations by legislators can provide valuable hints for the other investigation.
