Raytheon eyes replacing Harpoon with NSM in U.S. and international markets

A senior executive from Raytheon says his company has set a goal to replace the Boeing Harpoon anti-ship missile in U.S. and international inventory with the Naval Strike Missile (NSM).

Raytheon is marketing the missile with its creator – Kongsberg. It has secured contracts to arm the U.S. Navy’s LCS and FFG(X) warships with the NSM.
