Lockheed Martin, Diehl Defence and Saab are joining forces to create the Falcon air defense weapon system. The Falcon was launch at the IDEX 2019 in UAE.

The primary weapon will be Diehl’s Infra-Red Imaging System Tail/Thrust Vector-Controlled (IRIS-T) SLM interceptor while the main sensor is Saab’s 360-degree AESA Giraffe 4A radar. Lockheed Martin’s SkyKeeper command and control battle manager will be the brain of the system.
