Thomas Gathmann, director of mission integration mission solutions at Boeing Phantom Works, told SpaceNews that the new antenna will be offered to P-8A and KC-46 users as well.
It can have up to five modems and work on three services simultaneously. Besides the Ku-band, it can tap into the Ka-band commercial channels as well as future broadband constellations in low Earth orbit.
