D-Day Doll to lead 17 other warbirds on flyover of Los Angeles during Memorial Day

The Commemorative Air Force Inland Empire Wing is planning a massive 17-aircraft flyover of Los Angeles today to mark Memorial Day and salute COVID-19 essential workers.

Operations Manager Bill Prosser says the formation will be lead by C-53D “D-Day Doll” and the vintage warplane will be carrying a veteran from World War 2, Korean War, Vietnam War, Afganistan War, and Iraqi Freedom during the flight.
