Lufthansa Technik AG will deliver 26 Patient Transport Unit (PTU) NG (New Generation) to Germany over the next two years.

Eight such units have been delivered to NATO’s Multinational Multi Role Tanker Transport fleet. German intends to use the new PTUs on the Luftwaffe Airbus A400M and the future Airbus A321neoLR aircraft.
Swiss medical device manufacturer Aerolite has been contracted to develop and manufacture the system based on the specification from Lufthansa Technik AG.
