The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress on Nov. 15 that the State Department has cleared a Foreign Military Sale of 72 PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) interceptors to Switzerland.
The purchase is expected to cost Swiss taxpayers $700 million. The prime contractor will be Lockheed-Martin and any offset requirements will be negotiated between the aerospace firm and the Swiss government.
