DDG 53 took out MRBM target in terminal phase using 2 SM-6s

The U.S. Missile Defense Agency announced that on Dec. 14, USS John Paul Jones (DDG 53) demonstrated the ability of the Aegis baseline 9.C1 to tackle against a “complex medium-range ballistic missile target” by destroying it using a salvo of two SM-6 Dual I interceptors.

Russia has stood up a Su-34 squadron near its border with China

A spokesman for Russia’s Eastern Military District said a squadron of Su-34 fighter bombers has been set up in the Khabarovsk region which is close to the border with China.

China says Japan was trying to obtain radar info during recent incident

Throttle trigger malfunction caused Thunderbird crash

The lost of a F-16 flown by Thunderbird 6 in Colorado Springs this June was determined to have been caused by a throttle trigger that became stuck during flight.
