The U.S. Missile Defense Agency announced that on Dec. 14, USS John Paul Jones (DDG 53) demonstrated the ability of the Aegis baseline 9.C1 to tackle against a “complex medium-range ballistic missile target” by destroying it using a salvo of two SM-6 Dual I interceptors.

Superjet International announced that the Thai government has ordered a third Superjet and a contract has been signed with the Royal Thai Air Force.
