391st Fighter Squadron performed a missing man formation for the funeral of retired Col. W.L. “Jack” Doerty at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery on Nov. 23. Doerty was a former commanding officer for the 391st.

South Korea test firing of Chunma
The South Korean Army carried a live-firing exercise of its Chunma mobile air defense missile system on Dec. 7. This is the first live-firing of the system in four-years, according to Yonhap news.

Airbus, Elta offer AEW conversion to existing C295 operators

Pentagon’s chief weapons tester said his colleagues lied about the F-35 program
Dr. J. Michael Gilmore, the Pentagon’s Director of Operational Test and Evaluation, said in a memo to Frank Kendall, the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, that a draft response to Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain had contained misleading information.
