The Red Sales was a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) aerobatic team that was disbanded before its public debut. The team lost all its aircraft and six pilots during its fifth training flight on Aug. 16, 1962, sixty years ago.
The U.S. Marine Corps has determined that the crash of a MV-22B Osprey, call sign “Ghost 31”, in Norway on Mar. 18 was due to pilot error.
