Six civilians injured while downed F-15E crew was being recovered

News coming out of Libya say six civilians were injured when a U.S. helicopter fired at them while recovering the crew of a USAF F-15E that crashed in Libya. However, the United States denied that any shots were fired during the rescue.

CH-53K assembly line opens at Sikorsky Florida facility

Sikorsky has opened an assembly line for the new CH-53K heavy lift helicopter in Florida. Five System Development and Demonstration (SDD) prototype aircraft will be built at the facility.

HC-130J completes development testing

The new HC-130J personnel recovery aircraft has completed developmental testing. The final test point was air-to-air refueling and was achieved on Mar. 14.

3 PLAAF H-6s bombed ice field

The PLAAF sent three H-6 bombers to bomb an ice field in Inner Mongolia on Mar. 22. A total of 24 bombs were released in the operation.
