At the Shangri-La dialogue in Singapore last month,  Indonesian Defense Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro and U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates discussed the possible purchase of F-16s and C-130Hs.

India to shortlist candidates for MRCA soon

The Indian Air Force has completed its technical evaluations of six fighters competing in the MRCA contest and the report will likely be submitted next week.  A shortlist of candidates will be made after that.

USAF wants to field low-collateral damage MK82s in 6 months

The U.S. Air Force is seeking to build 125-175 carbonfibre-wound warheads to turn the MK82 into a low-collateral damage bomb.  The first 50 could be delivered in January 2011.
