Sweden exercise option to buy third GlobalEye early warning aircraft

Saab, a leading Swedish defense and aerospace company, has signed a new contract with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for the delivery of a third GlobalEye airborne early warning and control aircraft (AEW&C). This agreement, valued at approximately $270 million, underscores Sweden’s commitment to strengthening its air and maritime surveillance capabilities.

U.S., Pakistan Air Forces wrap up Falcon Talon 2024

The U.S. Air Force Central Command (AFCENT) and the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) recently concluded a bilateral exercise, Falcon Talon 2024, held at Mushaf Air Force Base in Pakistan from Jun. 1st to 11th. The exercise focused on enhancing interoperability and strengthening ties between the two air forces through a combination of flying missions and ground-based training scenarios.

European fighter jets to converge in Japan for Pacific Skies 24

European and Japanese fighter jets will engage in a series of joint training exercises over Japan scheduled for next month, as part of the larger Pacific Skies 24 initiative. Denmark to end Skrydstrup training, vows continued support for Ukrainian F-16 pilots

Denmark will conclude its program for training Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 fighter jets on Danish soil by the end of 2024, Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen announced at a joint press conference with his Norwegian counterpart Bjørn Arild Gram on Jun. 24.
