USAF B-1B bombers are back in the Pacific again and this time a pair of them flew non-stop from Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota to South China Sea on Apr. 29.
During a virtual event with the AFA Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies, the head of U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command assured that the service will continue to send bombers to the Pacific, just not for extended periods.
