The F-35 program has cleared all Category 1A deficiencies in November last year and there are now eight remaining Category 1B deficiencies.

Armed AV-8B caught fire in Bahrain last year

Two U.S. Marine Corps AV-8Bs both encountered emergencies during a mission in Bahrain last year. One of the aircraft caught fire on a taxiway and the jet was armed.

Admiral Kuznetsov expected to be repaired by fall 2022

Russian aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov is expected to go for sea trials in the fall of 2022. The shipyard that is carrying out repair and upgrading work on the ship has posted a contract to paint the outer surface of the ship before Sept. 1, 2022.
