Royal Thai Navy conducts training on FK-3 air defense missile system

On Apr. 10, Rear Admiral Supasit Buranatos, the commander of the Royal Thai Navy’s Air and Coastal Defense Command unit, along with his commanding officers, visited the military training grounds in Sattahip district, Chonburi province to observe the testing and training of the FK-3 medium-range air defense system.

Finland selects David’s Sling system as its next long-range air defense system

The Ministry of Defence in Finland has authorized the country’s Defence Forces to acquire the David’s Sling system as its next long-range air defence system. The system will be delivered by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, an Israeli company, at a cost of around $344 million without value-added tax.

South Korea and U.S. conduct first THAAD remote launcher drill

South Korea and the U.S. have conducted their first joint training on the operation of a remote launcher for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile defense system. The drill took place as part of the Freedom Shield joint exercise, which aims to enhance combat readiness and joint defense posture against North Korea’s advancing missile threat.

Multinational tanker transport fleet ready for full range of missions, says NATO Secretary General

On Mar。 23rd, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg attended a ceremony at Eindhoven Air Base in the Netherlands to mark the initial operational capability of a Multinational Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft fleet. Officials from Belgium, Czechia, Germany, Luxembourg, Norway, and the European Union were also present.
