The U.S. Marine Corps has placed an order for nine AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task-Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) AESA air defense radar systems.
In conjunction with the first intercept test of the SM-3 Block 2A interceptor, the U.S. Navy will field-test the latest Aegis Baseline 9.2C during the same event.
