Senators block Pentagon’s request for $27.2 million to keep JLENS alive

Two U.S. Senators have turned down the Pentagon’s request for $27.2 million to keep the JLENS program alive.

Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Thad Cochran, and Sen. Richard Durbin, who is the number two in the Democrat leadership in the Senate, have both said they prefer to have the program canceled.
