Turkey urged NATO not to withdraw Patriot batteries

Turkey has urged its NATO allies not to withdraw their Patriot air defense systems from its border with Syria. Germany and the U.S. are starting to withdraw their support and other NATO countries have not step in to fill the gap.

NORAD commander: North Korea capable of nuclear missile strike on U.S.

Admiral Bill Gortney, the commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), told an event hosted by the Atlantic Council that the Obama administration believes North Korea has nuclear-tipped missiles that can reach the mainland U.S.A.
