Iron Dome upgraded

The Iron Dome interceptor system has been upgraded to meet “an unprecedented range of threats,” the Israeli Ministry of Defense announced.

Rada Electronic Industries receives an order for Tactical Air Surveillance Radar

RADA Electronic Industries has received an order to produce and supply a RPS-42 tactical air surveillance radar to a leading European defense contractor. The radar will be delivered later this year.

Meet Chuck Norris’ Tae Kwon Do instructor

While posted to Osan Air Base, South Korea in the 1950s, Chuck Norris began learning martial arts at the Osan Gym. One of those who taught him, Grand Master Do Sik Mun, is still teaching U.S. military personnel at the gym till this day.

Russia expected to launch missile early-warning satellite in November

At the moment, Russia does not have any early-warning satellite in geosynchronous orbit to warn of a missile attack. This is set to change in November when the first EKS satellite is launch into space.
