Turkish PM defends HQ-9 order

NATO Secretary General wants Turkey to consider interoperability when buying missile defense system

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said while it’s Turkey’s “national decision to decide which equipment to purchase,” it is important “that the systems nations plan to acquire can work and operate together with similar systems in other Allied nations.”
