Over the skies of Syria, U.S. military pilots are struggling to cope with Russian warplanes that often flew too close to their aircraft, risking a mid-air collision, they told Wall Street Journal.

A total of 12 Russian Air Force Su-25s were seen arriving at Hmeymim airbase, Syria on Jan. 10.
Taiwan has detected Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning and her escorts moving north on the western side of Taiwan Strait on the night of Jan. 10 and has scrambled IDFs and E-2K to monitor the PLAN ships.
The Republic of Korea Air Force scrambled around 10 F-15 and F-16 fighters after China dispatched 8 of its warplanes into the Tsushima Strait.
