Malaysia’s MMRCA program delayed due to 1MBD scandal

Malaysia’s Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid is said to have met the heads of European defense companies during his visit to London last month and he is said to have told them that the purchase of 18 fighters for RMAF under the MMRCA project has been shelved due to the 1MBD scandal.

This could be the last time the Harrier visits Chitose Air Base

VMA-542 has completed its Aviation Training Relocation Program at Chitose Air Base, Japan on Dec. 22. With the F-35B being deployed to Japan next year, this could be the last time the AV-8B Harrier visits Hokkaidō.
