IAI hands over first of two G550 CAEW to Italian Air Force

The Italian Air Force has taken delivery of the first of two G550 Conformal Airborne Early Warning (CAEW) system from Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) in Israel on Dec. 19.

RoCAF F-16 made an emergency landing

A Republic of China Air Force (RoCAF) F-16 had to make an emergency landing at Ching Chuan Kang in Taichung after one of the electrical generator on board the aircraft failed in flight.

RQ-4 monitored Chinese warplanes as they flew off Taiwan

Taiwan’s United Daily News reported that a U.S. Air Force RQ-4 Global Hawk was flying high above the Pacific Ocean, monitoring a flight of Chinese warplanes circumnavigating off Taiwan on Dec. 10.

RoKAF F-16 Block 32 upgrade program completed

South Korea says it has completed the upgrade of 35 F-16 Block 32 fighters that was started back in October 2013.

Russian Air Fore Il-18 crash lands in Yakutia

A Russian Air Force Il-18 has crash landed in Siberia’s Yakutia today. All 39 people – 32 passengers and 7 crew members – survived the crash.
