The U.S. government has approved the sale of four Boeing KC-46A aerial refueling tankers to Japan and the Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress on the decision on Sept. 21. The estimated cost is $1.9 billion.

A Israeli Air Force F-16 shot down a Hamas unmanned aerial vehicle off the Gaza coastline on Sept. 20.
A Indian Air Force MiG-21 carried out an emergency landing at Srinagar airport on Sept. 20 and during the process, the aircraft overshot the runway and the airport was closed as a result.
