F-35 JPO to test new light weight HMDS this month

A new light weight Generation III Helmet-Mounted Display System for the F-35 will be tested this month. The new helmet design is meant to mitigate the issue with the jet’s ejection seat system.

Pratt & Whitney’s B-21 engine work will bring benefits to F-35

Program manager for the F-35, Lt. Gen. Christopher Bogdan, told reporters that Pratt & Whitney’s work to power the B-21 stealth bomber will bring benefits to the F-35 by reducing the cost of the F135 engine.

Putin orders limited withdrawal of troops from Syria

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the Defense Ministry to start pulling out troops from Syria starting today. However, units deployed to Tartous naval base and Hmeymim air base are not affected by the order.

Lockheed Martin delivered two KC-130J to RSAF

Lockheed Martin recently delivered two KC-130J Super Hercules aerial refuelers to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to be operated by Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) crews, the company said on Mar. 14.

India’s Law Ministry is against Rafale deal
