Turkish military sources say Saudi fighters are not at İncirlik yet

Turkish military sources told Hürriyet that Saudi Arabia has yet to send its fighter jets to İncirlik Air Base. A Saudi military spokesman said on Feb. 13 that Saudi fighters were deployed to Turkey.

First time RAAF KC-30A refuels the C-17

A RAAF KC-30A carried out its first aerial refueling of a C-17 while flying over California on Feb. 10.

A Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) refuels a United States Air Force C-17A Globemaster III transport. *** Local Caption *** On 10 February 2016, a RAAF KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) conducted its first air-to-air refuelling with a C-17A Globemaster III transport, flying from Edwards Air Force Base in California. The five-hour sortie saw 39 contacts between the KC-30A and C-17A aircraft, with approximately 6,800 kilograms of fuel transferred to the C-17A via the KC-30As Advanced Refuelling Boom System (ARBS). RMAF in talks to set up museum in Malacca

Royal Malaysian Air Force chief Gen. Roslan Saad said his service is in talks with the local government in the state of Malacca to set up a Air Force museum in Klebang.

U.S. Air Force and Navy’s next generation fighter won’t be common platform

Lt. Gen. James Holmes, the U.S. Air Force’s deputy chief of staff for plans and requirements, told reporters that his service and the U.S. Navy will go their separate ways for their sixth-generation fighter jet.

RAF to hold joint air exercise in Japan this October

Japan’s Defense Minister Gen Nakatani met Air Marshal Greg J. Bagwell from the Royal Air Force on Feb. 12 and both men agreed to hold a joint air exercise in Japan this October.
