Thanks to ISIL, A-10’s retirement postponed indefinitely

The U.S. Air Force has given up the fight to retire the A-10 attack jet as the flying branch concedes that the close-support aircraft is crucial in the fight against ISIL.

Six B-52Hs now able to drop JDAMs from internal weapons bay

Boeing has delivered six upgraded internal weapons bay launchers to the U.S. Air Force for installation on its B-52H fleet. The new enhancements allows the bomber to launch eight Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM) at one time from the internal bay.
