Boeing will decide whether to protest LRS-B award within two weeks

CEO Boeing Defense, Space & Security, Chris Chadwick, told his staff that the company will decide if there’s a need to protest the award of the Long Range Strike Bomber (LRS-B) contract to Northrop Grumman within two weeks.

Libyan helicopter carrying military officers shot down

A military helicopter from the Libya Dawn Coalition was shot down on Oct. 27. More than half of the 23 people on board were killed in the crash, the dead include senior officers of the Fajr Libya militia.

Russia to develop patrol-variant of Il-114

Russia plans to resume production of the Il-114 airliner, the aircraft will be converted into patrol aircraft for the Russian Air Force and aviation border troops.
