Saab announced on Sept. 9 that the contract to supply Brazil with 36 Gripen NG fighters has been finalized. The order value of approximately SEK39.3 billion is booked by Saab as order intake, according to the press statement.

The moving of U.S. military families to Incirlik Air Base in Turkey has been suspended by the U.S. Air Force. Dependents currently at Incirlik and nearby Adana were given the option by the Defense and State Department to fly back to the United States.

Bulgaria said it has denied airspace clearance for Russian aircraft flying to Syria. Bulgaria’s foreign ministry said it suspected the aircraft were not carrying aid, as Russia claimed.
