Indonesia selects Su-35 to replace F-5

Indonesia’s defense minister Ryamizard Ryacudu announced on Sept. 2 that Jakarta has decided to replace its F-5 fighter with the Russian-made Su-35.

First combat-coded F-35As arrived at Hill AFB

Two of the first combat-coded F-35As for the U.S. Air Force arrived at Hill Air Force Base on Sept. 2. The jets will be assigned to the 34th Fighter Squadron.

France believes Rafale has good chance to secure an order from Malaysia

A senior French diplomatic source told Reuters that Paris is confident that Malaysia will select the Rafale as its next fighter.

Kremlin refutes report that Russian military pilots and aircraft are in Syria

A spokesman from the Kremlin has refuted a report by Israeli news outlet Ynet that Russia military pilots and aircraft were sent to Syria to help government forces fight against ISIL.
