U.S. given green light to use Incirlik Air Base for air strikes in Syria

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told U.S. President Obama during a telephone conversation that American forces are cleared to use Incirlik Air Base for bombing missions against Islamic State in Syria.

Israel gave 16 surplus AH-1 helicopters to Jordan

According to Reuters, ex-Israeli AH-1 attack helicopters were transferred to Jordan to help the country fend off insurgent threats on the Syrian and Iraqi borders.
