Brig. Gen. Paul W. Tibbets IV, the grandson of Brig. Gen. Paul Tibbets Jr., has been selected to take command of the 509thBomb Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base.

USAF Pave Hawk rescues Saudi F-15 crew who ejected over Gulf of Aden

A Royal Saudi Air Force F-15 crew had to eject over the Gulf of Aden on Mar. 27 after encountering technical problems with their jet. They were rescued by a U.S. Air Force HH-60 Pave Hawk within two hours.
