U.S. approves Russia’s Open Skies sensors

The United States has certified a new set of sensors mounted on Russia’s An-30B that is being used for the Open Skies Treaty.

Ukraine An-30B shot down

A Ukrainian An-30B was shot down near the city of Slavyansk in eastern Ukraine on Jun. 6. Four on board are reported to have bailed out successfully.

USAF F-16s help train JTACs from nine countries

F-16s from the 555th Fighter Squadron help train joint terminal attack controllers from Austria, Belgium, Czech, Croatia, France, Montenegro, Latvia and Hungary during Exercise ADRIATIC STRIKE in Postojna, Slovenia.

Canada to buy 65 F-35s

Pentagon annual report on China 2014

The Pentagon said in its annual report on China that Liaoning is not expected to
embark an operational air wing until 2015 and the first indigenous aircraft carrier is unlikely to be operational until early part of next decade.
