ATC computers hang while trying to separate U-2 from commercial flights

Hundreds of flights were canceled or delayed on Apr. 30 when computers at the Los Angeles Air Route Traffic Control Center. Sources told NBC News that the En Route Automation Modernization system failed while trying to separate a U-2, flying at 60,000ft, from other commercial aircraft flying below it.

A-10s from 190th Fighter Squadron hold record for air-to-air kills at Green Flag East

A-10s from the 190th Fighter Squadron was supposed to be flying close support missions during Exercise Green Flag East at Barksdale Air Force Base this March. However, the squadron went home with the record for most air-to-air kills at the exercise.
