Global Hawks from Guam will rotate to Misawa Air Base, Japan next year

Asahi Shimbun reports that some or all Global Hawks from Andersen Air Force Base in Guam will rotate to Misawa Air Base for several months a year, starting from next spring.

Last C-130 that took part in Operation Eagle Claw retired

EC-130E, tail no. 62-1857, is the last operational aircraft that took part in Operation Eagle Claw. It was recently saved from the scrap yard and retired to Carolinas Aviation Museum.
