Twenty C-130Js from Dyess Air Force Base were airborne at the same time for Joint Operational Access Exercise 13-03. This is the largest C-130J formation ever flown.

Indian Air Force C-130Js played important role during humanitarian missions in Uttarakhand
Dense fogs and narrow valleys often hamper the Indian Air Force’s attempt to evacuate those stranded by floods in Uttarakhand. Not being able to deploy an early warning aircraft for air traffic control, a C-130J was used to monitor the weather patterns over Uttarakhand every morning.
