Turkey’s state-run news agency reported Sunday that Syria’s first man in space, Gen. Mohammed Ahmed Fares, has defected to Turkey and joined the Free Syrian Army. A video on YouTube shows him visiting a rebel base in Aleppo, his hometown.

Third X-51A ready for flight
