F-35A carries out first external weapons test mission

An F-35A at Edwards Air Force Base carried out first external weapons test mission on Feb. 16. The weapons load for this mission involved carrying two AIM-9X missiles on the outboard wing stations with two GBU-31s and two AIM-120s inside the two internal weapon bays.

Status of CF-104D 637

If you are not aware, there is a bid to return former Norwegian F-104 fighter, 637, back in the air. Much progress has been made over the years and the jet has been doing multiple startups and taxi trials. The aim is to fly the aircraft at the Bodo Air Show in June.
