Lt. Col. David Piffarerio, a U.S. Air Force reservist assigned to the 477th Fighter Group, has became the first Air Force pilot to log 1,000 hours on the F-22.

FA-50 production to start in 2013

The first KAI FA-50 fighter will be delivered to the RoKAF in 2013. The Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) said it will finalize a deal within this year.

Czech wants to swap Mi-17s, Mi-24s for Boeing MH-6s

During his meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama, Czech Prime Minister Petr Nečas proposed to swap his country’s eight Mi-17s and up to 24 Mi-24s helicopters for 16 Boeing MH-6 helicopters.

USAF F-16 pilot had GLOC before crash
