Nigeria has inducted its A-29 attack aircraft into service at Kainji Air Base on Aug. 31. The induction ceremony was hosted by Nigerian Minister of Defence Bashir Salihi Magashi.

F-16 runway excursion in Taiwan
A two-seat F-16 of the Republic of China Air Force veered off the runway at Pingtung Air Base on Aug. 31 at 06:32 hrs local time. The pilot was not hurt in the accident.
