E-2, F-15, F/A-18 made barrier arrested landing during Cope North 21

The two Barrier Arresting Kits (BAK-12) at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam were replaced on Apr. 26. In the new releases on May 3 from the 36th Wing Public Affairs, Master Sgt. Robert Smith from the 36th Civil Engineer Squadron said the BAK-12 was used to catch a E-2, F-15 and F/A-18 during exercise Cope North 21 in February.

F-22 #05-4085 is back flying again after landing gear mishap

F-22 #05-4085 made its first flight in more than a year on Apr. 9 after maintainers restored the aircraft following a landing gear failure mishap in January 2020.
