SPYDER shot down Mi-17 on Feb. 27

India’s NDTV says a Mi-17 was actually shot down by a SPYDER air defense missile system on Feb. 27 while Pakistan Air Force was executing Operation Swift Retort inside Jammu and Kashmir.

HAF F-16 flew over North Macedonia for the first time

A Hellenic Air Force F-16 from the 110 Combat Wing flew over North Macedonia on May 21. This is the first time Greece has flown a fighter jet over the Balkan state.

Vietnam War-era AM-2 runway mat being replaced by a 3D-printed one

The Vietnam War-era AM-2 aluminum mat is getting replaced by a new mat from ITAMCO. The new mat will utilize sheet or roll technology, resulting in less labor-intensive construction of portable airfields.
