LAIRCM pod for KC-135 cleared for production

Northrop Grumman announced on Apr. 17 that its Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (LAIRCM) pod for the KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft has achieved Milestone C.

A Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures system module is attached to the underside of a 507th Air Refueling Wing KC-135R Stratotanker, from Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., while sitting on the flight line at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., Nov. 28, 2017.
