Japan is taking delivery of its second F-35A at Misawa air base today and Defense Minister Yoshinobu Onodera says five more are expected to arrive on May 26, bringing the total to 7.

Chinese Y-8 EW aircraft operating over Taiwan Strait
The Republic of China Air Force issued a press statement on May 14 saying that a Chinese Y-8 electronic warfare (EW) aircraft was operating on the west side of the Taiwan Strait in the morning.
