Japan paying $33 million more for each locally-assembled F-35A

According to Jane’s, Japan is paying an extra $33 million to assemble a F-35A at the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) facility in Nagoya.

Qatar orders 28 NH90s, 16 H125s

Airbus has secured a deal during DIMDEX, Qatar’s biennial defense exhibition, to sell 28 NH90 helicopters and 16 H125s to the Gulf State.

First modernized Il-76MD-M to be transferred to Russian Defense Ministry

The Russian Ministry of Defense has taken delivery of its first modernized Il-76MD-M. The aircraft’s lifespan has been increased and features a glass cockpit.

New Zealand, Singapore still in talks over F-15SG deployment

New Zealand’s Defense Minister Ron Mark said in a statement on Mar. 13 that his country is still evaluating a proposal by Singapore to send a detachment of F-15SG fighters to Ohakea Air Force Base.
