Bangladesh Mi-171Sh crashes with high-ranking Kuwaiti officers on board
Kuwait Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Mohammad Al-Khuder and Kuwait Naval Forces Commander Maj. Gen. Khalid Mahmud Abdullah escaped serious injuries when their Bangladesh Air Force Mi-171Sh helicopter crashed inside a Border Guard Bangladesh camp in Sreemangal town on Jan. 3.

Denmark to take over NATO Air Policing mission in Baltic next week
Denmark will send F-16s to Zokniai air base in Lithuania on Jan. 5 as it takes over the NATO Air Policing mission from the U.S. F-15 contingent there.
