It was Iraqi F-16 that crashed in Arizona
The Arizona Air National Guard says the F-16 that crash on Sept. 5 near Safford was a Iraqi Air Force jet. The student pilot did not survive the crash.

F-16 from 162nd FW crashes
An F-16 assigned to Arizona Air National Guard’s 162nd Wing crashed approximately 20 miles northwest of Safford, Arizona at 3 p.m. on Sept. 5, the Wing said on its Facebook page.
