India buys 83 Tejas Mk 1As, 15 LCHs

The Indian government has approved the purchase of 83 Tejas Mk 1A fighters and 15 Light Combat Helicopters (LCH), both are manufactured by state-owned HAL.

Germany willing to send helicopters to UN mission in Mali

It will take 8-10 months to deploy THAAD in South Korea

Gen. Vincent Brooks, commander of United States Forces Korea, told reporters that the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) battery to be deployed in South Korea will only be ready in the first half of next year at the earliest.

Russian Mi-35 crew escapes ISIL missile attack

A Russian Mi-35 was forced to make an unplanned landing near Huwaysis, Syria. Moments after the crew was rescued by another helicopter, their stricken Mi-35 was hit by a missile fired by ISIL.
