Raytheon to market Iron Dome as SkyHunter in U.S.
U.S. soldiers out in the front-line require a new defense system to protect themselves from incoming rocket and mortar attacks. Raytheon is partnering with Rafael to market the Iron Dome as a solution to meet a U.S. Army requirement.

India to deploy BrahMos near China
Local media in India reported that the government has approved funding for a fourth BrahMos regiment and the supersonic cruise missiles will be deployed to its border with China.

Incoming CO of USASMDC/ARSTRAT passed away suddenly
Maj. Gen. John Rossi was suppose to take command of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command at Redstone Arsenal. However, he passed away on Jul. 31 on the installation.

British Rapier unit deployed to Estonia
The British Royal Artillery 16th Regiment has deployed to Estonia’s Emari airbase along with its Rapier air defense missile system.
